Skills built in every challenge

JeuXP isn't just fun — every challenge room develops real competencies. Here's the language teachers and coordinators need to justify the trip.

// Skill 01
Teamwork & Communication

Students must coordinate in real time under pressure — assigning roles, calling out information, and adapting as conditions change.

Challenge rooms are designed so no single person can dominate. Success requires active listening, clear communication, and collective decision-making — skills directly tied to cooperative learning competencies in the curriculum.

// Skill 02
Problem Solving

Every room is a puzzle that escalates in complexity. Students must think critically, adapt strategies, and find solutions under a ticking clock.

The XP level system means students face progressively harder challenges the better they perform. This mirrors scaffolded learning — each win builds confidence and unlocks the next level of difficulty, encouraging growth mindset and resilience.

// Skill 03
Reaction & Focus

Physical challenges demand split-second decisions and sustained concentration — building attention span and sensory-motor coordination in an active environment.

Screen-free physical engagement gets students out of passive learning mode. The fast-paced environment trains focus and response time in a way traditional classroom settings rarely achieve — particularly valuable for kinesthetic learners.

// Skill 04
Healthy Competition

The live leaderboard teaches students how to compete with integrity — how to win with grace and lose with resilience. A lesson no textbook can teach.

Structured friendly competition with clear rules and a real-time visible scoreboard teaches sportsmanship, goal-setting, and emotional regulation. Students experience both success and setback in a safe, guided environment.

// Skill 05
Leadership

Team dynamics naturally bring out leaders. Students step up, delegate, and take initiative in ways that rarely surface in a classroom setting.

Without assigned roles, students self-organize — a natural leadership development exercise. Teachers often see a completely different side of their students at JeuXP. It's a valuable observation opportunity as much as a recreational one.

// Skill 06
Group Cohesion

Shared experiences under pressure create bonds. Students who compete together leave closer than they arrived — a lasting impact beyond the classroom.

Research shows that shared physical and competitive experiences are among the most effective team-bonding activities. Teachers regularly use JeuXP as a class cohesion tool at the start or end of the school year to strengthen group dynamics.

The field trip that delivers

Zero Planning Stress

Your animator handles everything on-site. Teachers show up, watch their students shine, and leave without having run a single activity themselves.

All Ages & Levels

From age 6 upward. No gaming experience required. The challenges are immediately fun for every student regardless of background or ability.

Uniquely Memorable

There's nothing else like this in Montreal. Students remember JeuXP long after they've forgotten every other field trip they ever took.

Exceptional Value

$17.99 per student is one of the most affordable group activity rates in the city — especially for a fully animated, structured 1h30 experience.

Questions from coordinators

What is the minimum group size?[ + ]
The school rate requires a minimum of 10 students. If your group is smaller, our regular pricing packs may be a better fit — contact us and we'll find the right option.
Is there a maximum group size?[ + ]
There's no hard maximum but contact us directly for larger groups — we'll discuss how to best accommodate your class and whether multiple sessions make sense.
What is the minimum age?[ + ]
Students must be at least 6 years old. Anyone under 14 must be accompanied by an adult supervisor. All challenges are designed to be accessible and safe for all age groups from elementary through high school.
How many supervisors are required?[ + ]
We recommend following your school board's standard supervision ratios. Our dedicated animator is present throughout the session, but adult supervisors from your school must accompany students under 14 as per standard field trip policy.
How do payments and invoicing work?[ + ]
Contact us directly to discuss payment arrangements. We can accommodate school invoicing requirements. Reach us at contact@jeuxp.com or 438 380-1016 to sort out the details before booking.
Is the room privatised for school events?[ + ]
No, the room is not privatised for school events. If you want to privatise the room for an event, please contact us directly.
